Local Red Cross Annual Gift Wrapping Party

PHILADELPHIA, December 10, 2012

WHO: Red Cross Club Members and Corporate Volunteer Partners

WHAT: Spreading holiday cheer to nearly 500 children and family members forced from their homes by a disaster (mostly fires) in 2012. Red Cross Club members (middle and high school students) and volunteers will wield tape, scissors and ribbon to wrap presents for young guests who attend Children’s Holiday Party on December 13, 2012.

WHEN: Monday, December 10, 2012 (TODAY), 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

WHERE: American Red Cross Southeastern Pennsylvania headquarters, 23rd and Chestnut Streets, Philadelphia, PA, 4th Floor

More than 1,000 children are affected by disaster in our region every year. All toys for this party were donated by friends and supporters of the American Red Cross Southeastern Pennsylvania during toy drives over the last few weeks.
