Red Cross Assists Jacksonville Family of 2 After Fire

The American Red Cross Central Prairie Office provided emergency assistance to a Jacksonville family of 2 after a fire destroyed their home on Tuesday, April 22.

The fire occurred at 1041 Sheridan St., Jacksonville. Local American Red Cross Disaster Action Team volunteers provided emergency financial assistance to the displaced family for food, clothing, and medication. They also received Red Cross comfort kits.

The community can help those affected by future disasters by volunteering with the American Red Cross and/or making a contribution to the American Red Cross Local Disaster Relief.
