Red Cross Helping Eight People After Tuesday Fires in Milford

MILFORD, CONN. – The American Red Cross is helping eight people after two families were displaced by fires Tuesday, April 9, in Milford.

The Red Cross is helping a family of four– two adults and two children – after a fire on Centennial Drive in Milford Tuesday morning. The Red Cross is providing help with emergency housing, food and clothing needs.

The Red Cross is providing help with emergency food needs to a family of four – two adults and two children – after a fire Tuesday evening on Brenner Terrace in Milford.

The Red Cross is also providing comfort kits containing personal care items such as toothbrushes, deodorant, shaving supplies and other items a family might not have been able to gather in the rush to escape the fire.
