Red Cross Mobilizes Volunteers, Supplies for Harrison County Flood

The American Red Cross South Mississippi Chapter is mobilizing volunteers and supplies to respond to concentrated flooding in areas of Harrison County resulting today’s severe weather. County EMA director Rupert Lacy requested distribution of Red Cross clean-up kits and supplies in neighborhoods most heavily impacted by the flooding. Red Cross staff and volunteers will begin mobile distribution of clean-up supplies once the waters recede and the roads are deemed clear for travel by the local authorities.
