Red Cross Responds to Fostoria Home Fire

Volunteer disaster responders of the American Red Cross of Hancock, Seneca and Wyandot counties responded to a call for help at a home fire in Fostoria on Thursday, May 9th. The fire occurred on early in the morning on Berkshire Dr. and Red Cross volunteers Ron and Gwen Pahl responded just after 4:00 a.m. to the scene. The Red Cross is providing temporary lodging and assistance for food, clothing and shoes. A comfort kit containing personal hygiene items was also given to the occupant of the home.

The Red Cross will continue to aid the home’s occupant as needed and will provide information, resources and referrals to aid in long term recovery planning.
