Red Cross assists family in Springfield

The Red cross provided for the family's emergency disaster caused needs
Volunteers provided the family with their emergency needs after their home fire.

On Thursday, June 20th, the Illinois Capital Area Chapter received a call at 7pm to respond to a home fire. Volunteers responded to the home in the 700 block of South Amos in Springfield, and found a family of three in need of assistance. The American Red Cross provided the family with their emergency disaster caused needs including food, clothing and shelter.
