Red Cross provides aid to 2 people after fire in City of Albany


The American Red Cross of Northeastern New York provided immediate emergency aid to two people after a fire at a two-family house on Bradford Street in the City of Albany this afternoon.

Disaster Action Team Members provided financial assistance for food, clothing and temporary lodging to two adults.

The American Red Cross is dedicated to assisting those affected by disasters. Trained Red Cross volunteers and staff are on call 24 hours a days, seven days a week - and are ready to assist when needed with disaster assessment, client casework, sheltering, mass care, feeding, and more.
