“Getting help into the hands of people as quickly as possible is the priority of the Red Cross in times of disaster,” said Betsy Pratt, Regional Chief Executive Officer of the American Red Cross.

The Red Cross is providing relief and support across the Midwest. Hundreds of Red Cross workers are providing food, supplies, emotional support and health services. The Red Cross has shelters open across six Midwest states and has served thousands of meals and snacks and handed out hundreds of relief items for people who cannot return home because of flooding.

The American Red Cross will be distributing clean up supplies to residents that have been impacted by flooding in the Quad Cities area.
