Single Family Response on East 2nd Street in Buttonwillow

November 5th: The Kern Chapter volunteers were busy again today assisting a single family that was affected a house fire on 200 Block of East 2nd Street in Buttonwillow.

The family (2 Adults and 4 Children) was assisted with food, shelter, water, toys, comfort kits, and other necessities, as well as much needed resources and 1referral guidance.

This call marks the 88th family with a total of 382 individuals (224 Adults, 148 Children, and 10 infants) needing assistance because of home fires already this year.
