Show Your Support by Wearing Red on May 8

Wear Your Red Cross Shirt
Join your fellow Coloradans and wear the Red Cross logo or the color red in honor of World Red Cross Day on May 8.

The American Red Cross is celebrating a century of service in Colorado in 2014. Show your support for the Red Cross by helping us “Turn the State Red” in May!

Join your fellow Coloradans and wear the Red Cross logo or the color red in honor of World Red Cross Day on May 8. If you are a business leader, encourage your employees to participate – hold a spirit competition, or give your workers a gift of a Red Cross pin, T-shirt, hat or emergency kit.

We’ll be sharing photos of people showing their Red Cross spirit across social media, so don’t forget to take photos of yourself wearing red and post them to Twitter or Facebook with the hashtag #CoRedCross100.

More than 75 businesses and organizations are showing their support by turning their lights red, hanging banners or holding special fundraisers.

In addition to the “Turn the State Red” campaign, the Red Cross is also celebrating its 100-year anniversary by offering a discount on lifesaving training and giving out free T-shirts to every person who takes a Red Cross CPR, First Aid or Babysitter training course in May.
