American Red Cross Helping Nine People After Hartford Fire

Nine people are getting help with emergency needs after a fire Tuesday in Hartford.

HARTFORD, CONN., SEPTEMBER 24, 2013 - The American Red Cross is helping nine people - two adults and seven children - in two families after a fire Tuesday morning on Main Street in Hartford. The Red Cross is providing help with emergency housing, food, clothing and baby needs.

American Red Cross disaster assistance is free of charge, a gift made possible by generous donations and the work of volunteers.
