Hawaii Red Cross Closes Shelters on Big Islands

In partnership with Hawaii County, Hawaii Red Cross volunteers closed shelters this afternoon on the Big Island that were opened at 4:00 a.m. this morning in response to Flossie. The following sites (as posted on County of Hawaii website www.hawaiicounty.gov) had been opened earlier this morning:

Pahoa Community Center, Aunty Sally’s Luau Hale, Laupahoehoe Charter School, Honokaa Sports Complex, Waimea Community Center, Hisaoka Gym in North Kohala, Mt. View School, Pahala Community Center, West Hawaii Civic Center
