Red Cross volunteers from Vermilion county responded to an apartment building on fire on the evening of Monday, September 23.  Five apartments suffered fire, smoke and water damage as a result of the blaze, leaving 11 people homeless.  The Red Cross was on the scene to assist the families with their emergency disaster-caused needs including with food, clothing and shelter.
