Dennis and Cynthia Quinn take their work with the Hanscom Air Force Base very seriously.

So much so, they attended a Volunteer Appreciation Picnic at the base yesterday while their daughter was giving birth to twins.

“They’re so dedicated to these men and women in uniform,” explained Lynn Levine, Program Manager for Services to Armed Forces. “Working with them means a lot to the Quinn’s.”

Services to Armed Forces volunteers support many activities at Hanscom, like per-mobilization seminars, commander welcomes and post-mobilization events.

Services to Armed Forces is a program under the American Red Cross that provides care and support to members of Eastern Massachusetts’ military, veterans and their families through traditional and innovative programs aimed at preventing, preparing for and responding to the unique challenges that arise as a result of the deployment cycle and beyond.
