The American Red Cross is currently seeking RN or LPN’s to become Nurse Assistant Training instructors for our day and evening programs.

The American Red Cross Certified Nurse Assistant Training Course provides the information and skills that enable students to provide quality care for residents in nursing homes, for clients at home and patients in hospitals.

In addition to the hands on skills such as bathing and bed making, the program focuses on providing concerned individualized care that adheres to the five principles of care: Safety, Privacy, Dignity, Communication and Independence.

Students benefit from small classes, with caring, well-trained teachers. They receive hands-on experience as they learn in realistic clinical settings.

The American Red Cross offers a combined 4 week (day classes) or 7 week (evening classes) Nurse Assistant and Home Health Aide Training Program. The program is 126 hours and includes a CPR for the Professional Rescuer - Health Care Provider training.
