Washtenaw-Lenawee Chapter Shelter Open Through 11/20 in Adrian


The American Red Cross, Washtenaw-Lenawee Chapter is working with Lenawee County Emergency Management to operate a shelter in Adrian, Michigan following severe storms that left many in the area without power. Power has been affected in the area. Cold temperatures may make conditions difficult for some residents. The shelter will offer a warm place to stay.

Shelter will be open today, November 19 and Closing at 11 AM on November 20,

Persons seeking shelter are encouraged to bring the following items if possible:

  • Personal identification
  • Appropriate bedding, blankets, and pillows
  • Prescription medications
  • Personal hygiene items
  • A change of clothes
  • Necessary items for infants or the elderly
