Volunteers respond to seven single-family fires in October


Chapter volunteers responded to single-family fires in six counties during October.

Miller County had two single-family fires. Volunteers assisted eight new clients and spent $890.

Overall, volunteers responded to seven single-family fires during October, opened seven new cases and followed up on one case. The chapter assisted 25 new clients and spent $3,279.02, which is an average of $468.43 per case and $131.16 per client.

Cole County: one single-family fire; assisted four new clients; followed up with one family providing additional assistance; spent $418

Cooper County: one single-family fire; assisted eight new clients; spent $1,389.20.

Pulaski County: one single-family fire; assisted two new clients; spent $346.82

Randolph County: one single-family fire; assisted two new clients; spent $75.
