Volunteers to help EITC recipients complete tax returns free of charge.

The Cincinnati Chapter of the American Red Cross is one of the designated local sites to offer free tax preparation for the Earned Income Tax Credit Program in 2014.

This is the second year that American Red Cross Cincinnati Chapter and fundraising partners United Way have offered this service to the community. More than 100 tax returns were filed by our volunteers in 2013.

Volunteers will help prepare tax returns at our Dana Avenue office Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings during the month of February. Tax returns will be completed free of charge those who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit.
