CHARLESTON, S.C. – The American Red Cross assisted three adults residing in two apartments, one which sustained major fire damage and the other minor water damage, at 2000 Waverly Place Lane, North Charleston, early Sunday morning. The Red Cross provided financial assistance for food and temporary lodging, as well as comfort kits containing personal hygiene items.
The Palmetto SC Region of the American Red Cross has assisted more than 4,400 individuals this year who have been affected by a disaster.
