Red Cross Cheyenne Office to Relocate on May 27

The Red Cross always seeks to be the best steward of donated dollars.

The American Red Cross of Wyoming will relocate its Cheyenne office on Tuesday, May 27. The office will move from 3619 Evans Ave., Cheyenne, to the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security building, 5500 Bishop Blvd., Cheyenne.

This move will result in increased service delivery as well as an administrative cost savings. The Red Cross works closely with the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security on year-round preparedness efforts, and the State Emergency Operations Center is co-located at the same facility – enabling even more efficient collaboration among the Red Cross and other emergency response agencies.

“The Red Cross always seeks to be the best steward of donated dollars, and finding ways to achieve efficiencies with our buildings and administrative costs is one way we do that,” said Spencer Pollock, Executive Director of the American Red Cross of Wyoming. “This move is a win-win in that we will also benefit from being literally right down the hall from some of our closest partners in our efforts to help Wyomingites prepare for and recover from disasters and emergencies.”
