From first aid, CPR and bloodborne pathogens training to swimming and lifeguarding, and Babysitter's Training, the American Red Cross trains thousands of local residents each year in lifesaving skills through community and workplace courses offered. Through our global communication and support network, the American Red Cross Greater Long Beach Chapter provides emergency communications and other services to support military families.
Our International Tracing Services can help families who are separated by armed conflict or disaster a way to restore contact. These services include locating missing loved ones, exchanging family messages and securing travel documents from the International Committee of the Red Cross to reunite separated family members.
The American Red Cross is proud to present ProjectYOUTH, a unique year-round service learning program offered free of charge, in which high school youth are given the skills, tools and resources to become future community leaders.
