The American Red Cross is able to help those affected by disasters small and large because of the generosity of the American people. The Red Cross is not a government agency; it relies on private donations of time, money and blood to do its work.

The American Red Cross responds to disasters in Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties providing shelter, food, comfort and financial assistance. One way to help us help our community 24 hours-a-day, 365 days-a-year is through a financial donation.

Donate Your Vehicle

Donating your vehicle—in any condition—is a great way to help us help others. We accept vehicles in all 50 states, from cars and trucks to boats and motorcycles. Learn more about the Red Cross Vehicle Donation Program.

Donate Your Cell Phone

Make a difference by donating your cell phones and tablets to the American Red Cross. Through a partnership with Clover Wireless, the value recovered from your devices will be donated to the Red Cross.

Clover Wireless’ environmental stewardship programs operate under a no landfill policy which guarantees that materials collected will not go to landfills. All devices received will be data cleared using industry-leading automated tools. Devices deemed end-of-life will be recycled by an R2 and e-Steward (EPA sanctioned certifying bodies) electronics recycler.

Donating your mobile device is a simple four step process:
1. Click Here to Request a free UPS shipping label.
2. Box your device(s) with packaging material.
3. Print the UPS shipping label and securely attach it to your box.
4. Drop your box off at any UPS location in the United States or Canada.

Individual Donation of Goods

The Red Cross is unable to accept small, individual donations or collections of items such as clothing, food or cleaning supplies.

The cost to sort, package and distribute these types of donations to disaster victims is almost always greater than the cost of purchasing the items locally, and it is logistically impossible to distribute a wide variety of individual items in a equitable way. While we cannot accept the donation of an individual item, you can support your community by donating these items to an organization that is equipped to put them to the best possible local use.
