Group & Corporate Volunteerism

The Red Cross welcomes groups of all sizes to volunteer and support the services we provide our local communities. Religious groups, civic clubs, organizations and businesses alike can mobilize their members and employees to demonstrate their commitment to disaster response, preparedness education and community resiliency to inform, educate and save lives.

If your organization or corporation already partners with the Red Cross, please speak with your Red Cross relationship manager or your local Red Cross about your volunteerism needs.

If you’re new to the Red Cross and would like to know how to get your group involved, here are some of the many opportunities for groups:

Ready Rating: Preparedness for Businesses, Organizations and Schools

The Red Cross Ready Rating program is a free membership program that can help you assess your organization's preparedness level, identify ways to improve your preparedness and resiliency, and come up with a customized plan to make sure that you will be there for your Colorado community if - and when - disaster strikes.

When you join Ready Rating, you demonstrate your commitment both to the longevity of your organization and the resilience of your community; every business, school and organization that is better prepared and resilient in the face of disaster is also better able to help their community recover when disaster strikes. Find out more and get started at readyrating.org.

Behind The Red

Behind The Red is an association within the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross that engages Denver-area professionals in action-oriented opportunities that support the vital work of the Red Cross via fundraising, communications/advocacy and volunteerism. Youth Clubs

Starting or joining a Red Cross Youth Club is a great way to give back to your community, support the work of the Red Cross, have fun with friends and build leadership skills and knowledge.

Although some Red Cross volunteer opportunities require volunteer to be 18 or older to participate, Red Cross Youth Clubs are geared towards finding opportunities for young people to get involved and make a difference in partnership with the Red Cross! Find out more and get started here.
