As a community-based, humanitarian organization, the American Red Cross Delmarva Region provides relief to those affected by disasters and empowers individuals in our community to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. By helping people learn how to take care of their families and neighbors, the Red Cross strengthens the Delmarva Peninsula and readies it for all types of disasters, including home fires, hurricanes, and floods. Working with and through our dedicated volunteers, the Red Cross fulfills its mission on the Delmarva Peninsula.
The American Red Cross Delmarva Region proudly serves New Castle, Kent (DE), Sussex, Cecil, Kent (MD), Queen Anne’s, Caroline, Talbot, Dorchester, Wicomico, Somerset, Worcester, Accomack, and Northampton counties—spanning Delaware, Maryland, and northern Virginia. We can be reached 24 hours a day to help local families when disaster strikes and to help local military families communicate during emergencies. We teach our neighbors lifesaving skills such as first aid, CPR and water safety and provide free training in disaster preparedness. With your help, we can ensure the entire Delmarva Peninsula is Red Cross Resilient.
