The American Red Cross Tiffany Circle is a society of women leaders and philanthropists. The local Tiffany Circle was created in July 2008 and its members are creating a powerful leadership network of women who change lives, save lives, give hope and strengthen our local community through investments of their time, talent and treasure.

Tiffany Circle members donate $10,000 to their local Red Cross and see the results of their investments through the humanitarian work in their region, while connecting with more than 500 influential women nationwide. Gifts through the Tiffany Circle help ensure the local Red Cross is able to provide relief to local families displaced by everyday disasters; train volunteers and our neighbors to respond to emergencies and save lives; and help military families reach their loved ones during family crises.

The Tiffany Circle was created to provide women across the country with a forum to share their time and talent with those in need in their local community. It was named for the beautiful Tiffany windows located in the American Red Cross original national headquarters’ Board of Governors Hall in Washington D.C. The windows, produced by the Tiffany Studios, were commissioned by Red Cross President Mabel Boardman in 1917. As an act of reconciliation and hope, they were paid for with a $5,000 gift by the Women’s Relief Corps of the North and $5,000 by the United Daughters of the Confederacy of the South.

Tiffany Circle members are joining a long lineage of Red Cross women leaders, beginning with founder Clara Barton more than 130 years ago. The program, created by Red Cross Chairman Bonnie McElveen-Hunter and Board of Governor's member Melanie Sabelhaus, has been so successful that while it aimed to raise $1 million nationwide, it has now raised more than $3 million to benefit participating local Red Cross regions.

Members of the Tiffany Circle provide living examples of hope, mercy, faith, charity, truth and fortitude in their local communities. Will you join us in saving and changing lives?
