Red Cross Clubs

  • Hawaii Red Cross Clubs

When do we start?

The beginning of the school year is a good time to enlist the help of a teacher or counselor to advise your group and to recruit members. Set a regular and convenient time (weekly, bi-monthly or monthly) to meet.

Get organized: Recruit new members (flyers, text, tweet, bulleting, freshman orientation, word of mouth)

  • Put together a club roster and have each member complete a Red Cross Youth Volunteer form
  • Hold an icebreaker social to bring your club closer together
  • Hold elections for club officers
  • Collect club dues (optional - for refreshments and other things)
  • Create club Constitution
  • Decide what events/projects you want to do, based on our Red Cross mission.. Note there are two events that all Red Cross Clubs are required to participate in - see below.
