Team Firestopper is a disaster mitigation program aimed at reducing the impact of fire incidents in the most fire-affected communities by providing the education and tools and increasing the confidence for families to take action. The program is given at no cost and addresses the following topics in detail:
Team Firestopper Reach
Team Firestopper specifically aims to serve residents in areas with high incidences of home and apartment fires. Along with these residents, Team Firestopper has targeted specific groups most at risk for home fires, individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, older adults, and refugee/ESL communities. We are also committed to expanding this service to our military community and the youth and young adult community.

SAFETY FAIR SEMINAR LEADER
Know a thing or two about safety in the home and fire prevetion? Share your smarts as a seminar leader for a family-friendly fire prevention presentation. Team Firestopper is offering presentations in Spanish, so bilingual volunteers are definitely needed.
SAFETY FAIR SEMINAR ASSISTANT
Want to do a little bit of everything? Seminar Assistants keep community seminars and programs running smoothly by helping out with everything from registration to distributing fire safety kits.
Make sure our families walk away with all that Team Firestopper has to offer. You will check-in families and make sure families receive all of their materials at the end of the day.
