In addition to connecting you with programs and services offered by the American Red Cross, the Greater Chicago Region offers referrals and resources for those in need.
When additional help is required, we link clients with agencies who provide long-term assistance in the form of food, shelter, clothing, furniture and more. Below is a list of agencies that can provide assistance outside of the Red Cross domain.

Serves the homeless and poverty-stricken families living between 35th & 103rd by providing free furniture, household items and clothing. REFERRAL NEEDED.

Cathedral Shelter

Provides emergency furniture assistance for individuals in current need of furniture or household items. Cathedral Shelter also may provide rental assistance, food, shelter and senior services.
