The application process for Team Red Cross opens as of Monday, September 14, 2015. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all bibs are assigned.

Team Red Cross brings together runners of all ages and abilities in support of the American Red Cross mission. Team Red Cross prepares runners for success in the Boston Marathon and provides a rewarding charitable-giving experience. All funds raised by Team Red Cross benefit American Red Cross programs and services throughout Massachusetts. Since 2012, Team Red Cross runners have together raised more than $880,000 in support of our life-saving mission. Team Red Cross is proud to partner with Coach Dan Fitzgerald and Heartbreak Hill Running Company to provide expert training and guidance for our runners.
The fundraising minimum requirement set by the B.A.A. for participation is $5,000. On average, funds raised by charity runners exceed $7,000 per runner. A complete list of our terms and conditions for participation is available on our Team Red Cross 2016 application form.
Qualified Entry runners who have already secured an official entry to the 120th Boston Marathon through another source are invited to participate with Team Red Cross. A minimum fundraising commitment applies, and the runner must provide his/her own official Boston Marathon race entry number.
