Teacher Sponsor

Teacher Sponsor Program

This program is an exciting way to incorporate service, community awareness and philanthropy into your current teaching curriculum. This kind of service learning helps engage young people in community activities that help them understand what they learn in the classroom has real life applications.

What is a Teacher Sponsor?
Each school/group appoints a representative that acts as a liaison between the Red Cross and their school/group. Their role provides leadership and guidance to the group involved with the community service projects. They are responsible for ensuring that the service projects are completed and documented on the provided forms. Each teacher sponsor receives program suggestions and guidelines from our Volunteer Services Department.

How does the program work?
Upon completion of five projects your group will receive a plaque recognizing your efforts.
