Our Services

The Red Cross provides food and shelter in emergencies, assists members of our armed forces and their families, teaches lifesaving CPR and First Aid skills, and more. All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.

The Western Pennsylvania Region provides relief to the victims of more than 1,100 disasters each year, including nearly 150 in Armstrong, Fayette, Indiana and Westmoreland counties.

The American Red Cross is not a government agency and it relies on the generosity of the people of western Pennsylvania to fulfill its mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies.
