Jamie Andersen leads Florida’s Southern Gulf Chapter, serving over 1 million residents in Collier, Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties. In her role, she represents the American Red Cross to county residents and provides leadership to ensure community needs are being met each and every day. In addition, she is a member of the South Florida Region leadership team, which serves nearly 8 million people across the state.
Mrs. Andersen joined the American Red Cross in 2015 after a decade working in the financial services industry. Based in Manhattan, she was an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan working with the firm’s largest corporate and wealth management clients. Prior to that, Andersen worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she helped build its cross-divisional sales organization and provided strategic advice to large-cap industrial clients.
She was raised in Michigan, Southwest Florida and Georgia. She’s a magna cum laude graduate of Wellesley College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and served as College Government President. Mrs. Andersen remains an active volunteer in the Wellesley community, driving recruiting, mentoring and fundraising efforts. Andersen resides in Collier County with her husband and son.
