Cisco Foundation 's Involvement:
Together the Red Cross and Cisco respond to crises across the globe, including the recent earthquake in Haiti. Cisco and its employees have contributed product grants and more than $12 million to support the Disaster Relief Fund and the International Response Fund. This year, Cisco launched a global partnership with the Red Cross that provides emergency response training and expanded volunteer opportunities for the company’s employees. Cisco will match each qualifying volunteer hour with a $10 donation, up to $1,000 per employee. Employees will train with more than 20 Red Cross US chapters and affiliates throughout the world.

The Red Cross and Disney Channel are already making a difference showing kids how easy it is to get prepared, and to involve their friends and community in the disaster preparedness process. Disney Friends for Change – a global initiative that inspires kids and families to make a difference in their communities – also encourages kids to take action, featuring disaster preparedness tools on their website, including a Mickey and Friends Disaster Preparedness Activity Book and the Friends for Change interstitial.
Disney also supports the Red Cross Pillowcase Preparedness Program. The program, piloted last year with a $1 million investment from Disney, supports in-school and after-school programs to help third graders and families prepare for disasters.

Throughout the years, Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS) has been providing financial support, products, transportation and employee volunteers as part of relief efforts during times of disaster. Beginning this year, DPS commences a four-year partnership with the Red Cross as a corporate member of the Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP) and a key supporter of an innovative initiative in the Dallas area called the Mass Care Task Force. The company's generous gift will enable Red Cross to enhance preparedness and respond immediately to the needs of individuals and families impacted by disasters.
Edison International 's Involvement:
Edison International, through its subsidiaries, is a generator and distributor of electric power and an investor in infrastructure and energy assets, including renewable energy. Headquartered in Rosemead, California, Edison International is the parent company of Southern California Edison – one of the nation’s largest electric utilities.
Safety is our highest priority and is a constant in everything we do. Edison International recognizes that if a large-scale natural disaster hits Southern California, residents will turn to the American Red Cross. For that reason in 2012, we joined forces with the American Red Cross and committed $1.5 million to launch PrepareSoCal, a three-year emergency preparedness campaign.
To support Superstorm Sandy relief efforts, a team of five Ready When the Time Comes employee volunteers trained by the American Red Cross flew to New York to help provide temporary shelter and meals to displaced families. In addition, Edison International employees donated $40,000 to the American Red Cross, and the company added to the grant for a total of $65,000 for disaster relief.

For more than a decade, FedEx has provided complimentary transportation services and logistical support to help the American Red Cross get emergency supplies to areas affected by disasters. The company’s expertise in moving large numbers of packages in extremely short time frames is a valuable resource for Red Cross workers when critically needed equipment needs to be delivered in a matter of hours rather than days. As a founding member of the Annual Disaster Giving Program, FedEx has provided millions of dollars in cash and in-kind services over the years. Their current five-year pledge period includes $1.75 million in cash to help provide a stable base of funding for response to thousands of disasters nationwide each year.
GE Foundation 's Involvement:
GE Foundation supports the American Red Cross because they are an indispensable provider for emergency relief across communities where GE employees and customers work and live. As the only organization with a Congressional mandate to provide assistance in times of disaster – from house fires to large scale hurricanes, the Red Cross responds to meet emergency food, shelter and counseling needs. With more than 150,000 employees in the US, GE and the GE Foundation understand that the Red Cross has had a tremendous impact on the communities in which GE employees and customers are located. State Farm and the American Red Cross work together to help people recover from disasters. Through the Annual Giving Disaster Program, State Farm and the American Red Cross respond immediately to individuals, families, and communities in their time of need. State Street 's Involvement:
The State Street Foundation, the charitable grantmaking arm of State Street Corporation, has been an Annual Disaster Giving Program member since 2004. The company was one of the first Annual Disaster Giving Program members of its local chapter as a staunch supporter of the Disaster Relief Fund. Target® has been a close partner of the American Red Cross since 1986. They currently support the Annual Disaster Giving Program with an annual donation of $500,000. Walmart and its Foundation are committed to reacting quickly and efficiently in times of disaster. Walmart works to provide essentials such as food and water to the American Red Cross relief operations to meet life-sustaining needs. Since 2007, Walmart and its Foundation have donated more than $35 million for disaster preparedness and disaster relief efforts. Walmart also has invested in helping communities across the U.S. by hosting blood drives to provide lifesaving assistance. Walmart and its associates have provided an opportunity for people in the U.S. to give nearly 500,000 blood donations. Each blood donation can help save up to three lives. These are just a few of the many ways Walmart associates are working with the Red Cross to give back locally.

The mission of the WellPoint is to improve the lives of the people we serve and the health of our communities. Our company, foundation and associates believe that the best approach to disaster relief is a proactive one. We are proud of our long-standing support of the American Red Cross and their continued efforts to provide effective and efficient relief to communities impacted by disaster.
Wells Fargo 's Involvement:
For decades, Wells Fargo and its employees have helped the Red Cross prepare for and respond to domestic and international disasters through generous donations and employee engagement. Wells Fargo has provided nearly $28.7 million in financial support to the Red Cross since 1989. In addition, Wells Fargo’s team members have generously donated their time and energy as volunteers, providing hands-on assistance with programs such as “Ready When the Time Comes,” as well as Disaster Action Teams, blood drives, and other programs. Wells Fargo team members are also very active as Red Cross board and committee members.
