Volunteers are invaluable to the daily operation of the American Red Cross North Jersey Region and are truly the heart and soul of the organization.

Red Cross programs and services that are provided by the North Jersey Region are made possible through the dedication and support of more than 4,500 volunteers. Volunteers of all ages and various backgrounds help by assisting victims of disasters such as house fires or floods. They provide lifesaving training in CPR, First Aid and Water Safety programs, deliver meals to the elderly and disabled, provide transportation services for seniors, help to greet blood donors at blood drives, and communicate information to members of the Armed Forces and their families. Volunteers also help with office work, special events and fundraising.

Opportunities exist that allow you to put your current skills to use or to develop new skills to help others. Whatever your interest, as long as you have a desire to help make someone's life a little brighter, the Red Cross has a place for you.

Follow these steps and become a volunteer with the American Red Cross!
