Health and Safety Services provides the community with quality programs and services designed to prepare residents for life’s emergencies. Volunteers and staff teach a variety of comprehensive community and workplace programs for both adults and children. Programs include:
Lifesaving Coursework such as: First Aid/CPR/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens; Sports Safety Training
Aquatics: a variety of “Learn to Swim” programs are offered along with programs to prepare Lifeguards for their jobs.
Youth Programs: Babysitter’ Training
First Aid and Water Stations are staffed at various community events to provide immediate response in the event of a sudden accident or illness.
Red Cross Lifeline: A medical alert service that provides peace of mind to families.
