Youth Involvement

The Dayton Area Chapter of the American Red Cross encourages youth to get involved and start a Red Cross Club in their school. Students can learn more about community service, fundraise for the measles initiative and collect books for the English as a Second Language program.

Additionally, special Group Projects allow your church group, school classes, or other youth organization to volunteer for one-time projects such as bulk mailing, newsletter collating or fundraising for the American Red Cross.

Youth Crew

The American Red Cross Dayton Area Chapter Youth Crew is composed of youth from around Montgomery, Greene, and Preble counties, who meet every three weeks on Saturday from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The Youth Club has around 15 members including a president, vice-president, secretary, and liaison. If you are interested in joining the Youth Crew, at WPAFB contact Kay Caliguiri, the Youth Crew Coordinator at (937) 257-914 or kathleen.caliguiri@wpafb.af.mil or contact Kathy Gudgel at (937) 222-0124 X-111 or roxane.harting@redcross.org.
