Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces (SAF)

Service to the Armed Forces and Branch Offices

As a volunteer nurse on the battlefields of the American Civil War, Clara Barton saw the poor condition of the military troops firsthand. She became known as the “Angel of the Battlefield.” The chapters within the American Red Cross Permian Basin Area Chapter helps service members return home to see their families in a time of emergency. By calling us, you will access a wide variety of services available to both military members and their dependents, for both emergency and non-emergency situations.
