Disaster Services

Red Cross workers respond to 3000 disasters each year in the Central Texas Region, including fires, floods, tornadoes and hurricanes among other natural and man-made disasters. Red Cross disaster services are always free and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The American Red Cross Central Texas Region trains around 18000 people each year to prepare for, prevent, and respond to life-threatening emergencies through Babysitting, CPR, First Aid, Lifeguarding, and Learn to Swim programs.

Service to the United States Armed Forces is central to the mission of the American Red Cross, and the Central Texas Region of the Red Cross is here for you if you or a family member is or were serving, or a veteran. Call to access a variety of services for emergency and nonemergency situations, including sending emergency messages to service personnel deployed overseas.
