Hospital Recruiter Sarah Jones donates blood at the American Red Cross blood drive held at Southern Hills Medical Center on Wednesday, Aug. 27.
“I plan on being a more regular donor now that the hospital is sponsoring American Red Cross blood drives. It’s great that the Red Cross comes over here. It makes it more convenient for all of us,” says Jones.
The drive resulted in the collection of 37 productive units of blood on a goal of 35. Nine people were first time blood donors.
