In 1853 when Captain Richard King, a Rio Grande river-boat pilot, camped along a creek in the south Texas region called the Wild Horse Dessert, he failed to see a parched flatland/ rather he saw its potential as a cattle range. Now the King Ranch is the largest ranch in the world with property in many different countries including 825,000 acres in South Texas.

No riders start after 9:00 am Event will be over by 2:00 pm
You will find full service rest stops and medical assistance, if necessary, along the routes. Sag-wagons will be driving all routes.

Pre-registration is $20 if postmarked by 10/15/01. Any entries postmarked after that date, or received in person on the day of the event are $25. The first 300 registrants will receive T-shirts and goody bags. |
