In 1853 when Captain Richard King, a Rio Grande river-boat pilot, camped along a creek in the south Texas region called the Wild Horse Dessert, he failed to see a parched flatland/ rather he saw its potential as a cattle range.  Now the King Ranch is the largest ranch in the world with property in many different countries including 825,000 acres in South Texas.

Riders will begin their ride on the world famous King Ranch, riding past century old live oaks and through the beauty of mesquite filled lands.
