Video: Why Give Blood?

The American Red Cross has issued an urgent need for eligible blood and platelet donors this summer. Wondering what motivates someone to roll up a sleeve? In this short video, Red Cross blood donors describe their personal reasons for giving blood, from the great feeling that comes from helping strangers, to a physician’s firsthand knowledge of the way this lifesaving gift benefits a patient in need.
