American Red Cross has been assisting communities devastated by tornadoes and severe flooding across Arkansas. Hundreds of homes sustained damage, others were destroyed.
Historic flooding resulted in evacuation of residents in communities all along the Arkansas River, from Fort Smith to as far as Pendleton. River crests exceeded records set in 1945.
The Red Cross and other community partners are working together to connect residents with the resources they need to assist in their recovery.
During and after disasters, financial donations best enable the Red Cross to help people recover from disasters big and small. Call, click, or text to give: visit redcross.org, call 1-800 RED CROSS or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation donate online at www.redcross.org.
