Join us for a Virtual Kick Off!

The American Red Cross Central California Region will be kicking off our 2021 Sound the Alarm Campaign with a virtual event sharing the importance of educating our local communities about home fire safety. The virtual event will feature a message from our Regional Executive Tony Briggs and a panel of speakers including clients and volunteers. We are excited to share our home fire stories with you and talk more about how we can prevent future home fires in our community. The goal is to educate 1000 households in the Central California Region from April 8 - May 8.

Did you know:

• Across the US, the Red Cross responds to a home fire every 8 minutes.
• In Central California, the Red Cross responds to almost 2 home fires per day.
• The Red Cross has saved 836 lives nationwide since the Home Fire Campaign began in 2014, including 9 in Central California (6 in Bakersfield, 3 in Fresno)
