Accountability You Can Rely On
You can be sure your financial contribution to any of the four Chapters in the American Red Cross of the Northern California Coastal Region is used wisely. We are classified as a publicly supported organization and are exempt from federal income taxes of the Internal Revenue Code under Section 501(c) (3).
Our budget is annually approved by a volunteer Board of Trustees. The financial operations of the four chapters within the Northern California Coastal Region are reviewed and appropriately adjusted on a regular basis. An annual audit is performed by an outside firm.
Sponsor one of our events or initiatives to train local residents in lifesaving first aid, CPR and disaster preparedness skills. Become a regular supporter of our ongoing disaster relief efforts. Hold a special fundraiser to help those affected by a major disaster.
When a major disaster occurs – from a large apartment complex fire to a major hurricane – people in the community are among the first to help, often looking for a way to support the relief efforts underway. Or your organization may want to help support the ongoing preparedness and readiness efforts of your local Chapter.
Workplace giving is a simple and effective way for employees to support the American Red Cross mission. Your gift helps fund vital research, programs and services. No matter what size your contribution, your dollars add up to make a difference.
Many companies have matching gift programs that will double or even triple charitable contributions made by their employees. Find out if your company will match gifts to a local chapter within the American Red Cross of the Northern California Coastal Region.
