Volunteers aged 13-17 are encouraged to become youth volunteers, which offers meaningful opportunities for education, training and community service. We believe youth have the potential to make a difference in huge ways. In our eyes, they are a vital resource bringing energy, innovation and inspiration to the American Red Cross and our goal is to provide them with meaningful opportunities for education, training and volunteer service so that they remain a part of the Red Cross family throughout their lives.
If you are between the ages of 13-17 years old and would like to become an American Red Cross Youth Volunteer, please complete and submit the Youth Volunteer Application. If you are 18 or older, please visit our Volunteer page for more information on volunteer opportunities.
If you are currently enrolled in school, we encourage you to start or join a Red Cross Club! Working closely with the local Red Cross and a school advisor, club members participate in Red Cross service projects that help their schools, their communities and the world.
