Colorado Gives Day. It’s more than just a day. It’s a movement that inspires and unitesthousands of donors to give where they live and support Colorado nonprofits, like the American Red Cross. Each year at the Red Cross, we assist more than 900 families and disasters each year in Colorado and Wyoming alone. Those disasters can include, home fires, flooding, wildfires, and displaced families.
The mission of the Red Cross in Colorado isn’t to just help in times of need, our team of volunteers and staff members also work around the year to provide preventative services and programs like our home fire campaign where we installed more than 6,100 smoke alarms last year in homes in our local communities, or reached over five million people thru education and training programs and our community education programs. The Red Cross of Colorado also provided support and assistance to more than 14,000 members of the armed forces, veterans and military families.
On this Colorado Gives Day, think of the Red Cross of Colorado. We work hard every day with every penny we receive to provide services to not only our communities, but to those impacted by disaster and individuals who need it most.
Colorado Gives Day is December 10, but you can pre-pledge your donation today.
