DENVER, CO, WEDNESDAY AUGUST 5, 2020 — The American Red Cross of Southeastern Colorado is assisting more than 100 people after a large fire engulfed an apartment building located in the 2300 block of Sprague Avenue, in Pueblo, Colorado. 40 homes were impacted by the fire. Power and water have been turned off and all residents were evacuated.
Red Cross volunteers quickly responded to the incident and began providing immediate services for needs and assistance. Additional volunteers will continue to support the individuals impacted by the fire today to assure all needs are met. Those services will include lodging, food, immediate needs, health services and mental health services.
