Be a Hero to People in Need!

During March — which U.S. presidents have proclaimed as Red Cross Month for more than 75 years — the Red Cross honors its volunteer heroes and asks everyone to be a hero for people in need by becoming a volunteer, giving blood, learning skills that save lives, or donating on Red Cross Giving Day (March 25).

For Michigan’s 2021 virtual fundraiser we have decided to combine the important Red Cross Month with the fun of the March Madness Basketball Tournament to create Heroes of March! We will be celebrating local heroes and raising funds the entire month of March, but will have a specific virtual fundraising event March 24-27, 2021. During those four days we will offer a silent auction, announce our local hero award winners, hear some mission moments, and get a taste of Red Cross’s version of “chalk talks”. We hope you can join us to reach our goal of raising over $200,000!
