Red Cross knows that emergencies don’t stop and neither do we. Our region serves more than 3.6 million people and has a dedicated team of 1700 volunteers ready to help at a moment’s notice. Simply put we are unwavering and unstoppable.
However, we simply cannot do this critical work without your support. With critical in person events and typical fund raisers canceled your support is needed now more than ever

Across the country, we respond to an emergency every 8 minutes. No one else does this: not the government, not other charities. From small house fires to multi-state natural disasters, the American Red Cross goes wherever we’re needed, a beacon of hope when its needed most. Millions of people across the country have been impacted by the ongoing coronavirus while at the same time hundreds of thousands of people have been affected by record setting wildfires in the west and a relentless series of hurricanes along the Gulf Coast.
In these unprecedented times there has been one constant, the Red Cross.
Local need for our services continues to grow. Here’s how your support impacted lives last year:
Responded to 577 local disasters providing relief to over 2,300 people.
Installed nearly 4,000 free smoke alarms making more than 2,400 homes safer.
Worked with over 2,800 military families connecting them with critical services and support in a time when so many faced isolation and unknowns.
Trained over 40,000 in life saving courses including CPR and water safety and babysitting.
Countless blood drives to ensure adequate supply, collecting over 66,000 units of life saving blood.
Partnered with the FDA to collect plasma from recovered Covid-19 patients to help those battling the disease.
