You can bring help and hope to a homeless or at-risk veteran right here in the Greater Pennsylvania region. The American Red Cross is collecting personal care items that will be packaged into Resiliency Backpacks for homeless veterans, as well as items for Move-in Kits for formerly homeless veterans that are transitioning into housing.
Donations of new items will be collected at your local Red Cross office. These items will then be packed into a storage tote or backpack and distributed to local homeless or at-risk veterans in the Greater Pennsylvania region.
Please drop off or send us an item or two from the list of items needed. Every donation helps.
Questions? By helping us fill these Totes of Hope, you are bringing hope to the veterans that are often forgotten in your community. If you have any questions about the Totes of Hope program or other initiatives for military men and women at the Red Cross, feel free to contact the Red Cross at (866) 311-3832.
Items will be collected through the end of March.
Please drop your off your items at your local Red Cross Office.
